The 2023 American Association of School Librarians National Conference Welcomes Harold W. Weist’s The Jade Cross: Book 3 (Jade Cross Trilogy)

Tampa, Florida Oct 17, 2023 (Issuewire.com) - Not foreign to the book industry, Authors Press and esteemed author Harold W. Weist is delighted to present the exhilarating novel, The Jade Cross: Book 3 (Jade Cross Trilogy), at the long-awaited American Association of School Librarians National Conference this October 19 to 21, 2023.

The Jade Cross: Book 3 (Jade Cross Trilogy) delineates Weist's experience as part of the U.S. Marine Corps. This enthralling novel follows the heart-rending journey of Master Gunnery Sergeant Travis Tolbane, USMC (Ret). As he passed in an alley after his job as a mall security manager, he encountered an unexpected incident -- he was ambushed by a Vietnamese trio. Luckily, the Metro Police came on time and Tolbane escaped the ambush. After the near-miss incident, Tolbane learned a chilling news from his friend, Detective Sergeant Parnell. Tolbane's previous interpreter and his girlfriend's half brother, Ba, from Vietnam were brutally disfigured.

This petrifying news urged Master Gunnery Sergeant Tolbane; his girlfriend, Mai; his friend, Detective Sergeant Parnell; and a Vietnamese priest to hunt and stop an unhinged piquerist--who believes that he is the reincarnation of the Thirteenth Century hero named Tran Hung Dao and seeks to get his hand on the estimable Jade Cross and Mai to resurrect an ominous society called No Name and cause havoc to the lives of innocent people.

Harold W. Weist's knowledge and experience in the 1965 to 1970 Vietnam scene contributed to the novel. Weist intricately infused fiction with reality, hence the birth of this thrilling trilogy.

If you're curious about the trilogy, you can visit the Authors Press exhibition at the American Association of School Librarians National Conference or grab a copy of the book through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other online booksellers.
