A.L.I.V.E. Active Shooter Survival is accepting registrations for its upcoming Training Instructor Certification Course.

A.L.I.V.E. Active Shooter Survival is offering its new Training Instructor Certification Course over Zoom on the May 25-26th and June 29-30th weekends. The company is also hosting an in-person version of the course on the June 29-30th weekend in White Plains, Maryland.

The newly announced program is a 2-day, 7-module course that essentially serves two purposes. The first is to teach participants the skills needed to survive an active shooter event. The second is to show participants how to present these skills to others publicly. The overall goal of the course is for participants to gain certification and start teaching the course themselves.

Before the start of the course, participants are expected to read A.L.I.V.E. founder Michael Julian’s book “10 Minutes to Live: Surviving an Active Shooter Using A.L.I.V.E,” which is included with enrolment. They also need to complete the A.L.I.V.E. Online Training Course, which is the foundation for all A.L.I.V.E. instruction and the course they will ultimately be teaching to others.

Then, when the course starts, participants will take part in a further five modules. These modules include a comprehensive breakdown of the A.L.I.V.E. approach, a review of the A.L.I.V.E. presentation, professional speaking and presentation coaching, teach-back assignments, and marketing training.

The course ends with a final exam, which participants must pass to get a Certificate of Completion for the A.L.I.V.E. Instructor Certification Course. Graduates get enrolled in a partnership program. They’ll also be given opportunities to teach the A.L.I.V.E. Program on behalf of A.L.I.V.E. headquarters.
