Americas Cardroom details WPN’s ScreenShield Protection in an in-depth guide.
San Jose, Costa Rica, October 9, 2026 -- Americas Cardroom has detailed Winning Poker Network’s ScreenShield response to remote-access security concerns, including player outreach, added table protection and guidance shared with other poker operators.

On September 29, WPN contacted players meeting its detection criteria and activated ScreenShield as a precaution. A review found no compromise of WPN systems, poker software or official downloads.
ScreenShield blocks table content from covered screen-capture and screen-sharing methods while players see their own tables normally. It can affect legitimate streaming and recording. It does not remove every possible security threat.
Any WPN player can email [email protected] to request activation, allowing up to 48 hours. A player-controlled client toggle is in development. WPN plans regular scans and more proactive application under its detection criteria.
Installed remote-access software alone does not prove compromise or cheating; these tools can serve work, collaboration and IT support.
ACR Poker and GTO Wizard cross-check whether situations played on ACR were solved in GTO Wizard and are working toward broader final-table analysis, with every ACR final table as the goal. The public Fair Play Check includes preflop ICM spots and timestamps.
Game Integrity is investigating account activity. Compensation depends on findings establishing wrongdoing and harm to WPN players.
