AQuity Solutions today announced the appointment of Chris Rigg to the company's board of directors. Chris brings over 20 years of healthcare leadership experience and currently serves as CFO of the Commercial and Specialty Business Division of Elevance Health, formerly Anthem. Prior to Elevance Health, Chris served in various healthcare equity analyst leadership roles within Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank, and Susquehanna International. Chris is an MBA graduate of the Stern School of Business at NYU.
Leading healthcare provider organizations rely on AQuity as their Virtual Partners in Care, alleviating the clinical documentation capture burdens inherent to the electronic medical record, while ensuring proper clinical coding and revenue capture.
"We are delighted to welcome Chris to AQuity Solutions during this period of rapid growth and scale," shared Kashyap Joshi, CEO. "As we accelerate our growth initiatives and strategic transactions, Chris's experience will help us optimize our organic and inorganic investments."
"Chris brings vast expertise as we evaluate growth opportunities and build upon our market leading position in the clinical documentation capture and medical coding space," said Rick Kneipper, Chairman of AQuity's board of directors. Chris fills the board seat vacated by Matthew Sheahan, who recently joined Silver Point Capital as Head of Credit. "We thank Matthew for his valuable contributions to AQuity over the past three years."
"AQuity's client distribution network includes 21 of the Top 25 and over half of the Top 250 largest health systems in the United States, offering enterprise value creation at scale," said Rigg. "I am honored to join the AQuity team during this period of rapid growth, making a difference in the financial wellness of health care systems as well as in the lives of providers and the patients they serve."
