The announcement reveals details of this year’s event that will take place at JC Sports Houston’s state-of-the-art recreation center serving Humble, Kingwood, Atascocita and NE Houston. The upcoming camps are designed to help children develop motor skills, self-confidence, and sport-specific technique through interactive drills and games.

According to CNBC, 2020 saw over 65% of summer camps close across the US due to public health restrictions. Regpack reports that there are usually over 12,000 camps operating across the US during the long summer vacation with more than 6 million children attending both residential and day programs every year. These events provide a fun, social experience for young people, teaching them new skills and enabling new friendships to be forged during school holidays.

As well as traditional sports such as baseball, soccer, basketball and multi sports activities, the JC Sports Center camp experience also entails glow-in-the-dark soccer, Epic Water Day, laser tag, dodgeball, nerf wars, and gaga ball among others. The company rotates activities, especially for younger attendees, making sure they get to experience a full range of sports.

All JC Sports Houston coaches are fully vetted and highly trained, motivating camp kids to stay active all day with a varied and exciting program of activities. Children can choose between Multi-Sport Camps or sign up for ‘All That’ camp experience that includes agility pursuits, fitness games, science workshops, and team-building exercises.
