SUNRISE, FL – CoverTec Products, known for high-quality floor coatings and specialty sealants, has been named the Florida/Caribbean distributor for Endurable Concrete Armor, a cutting-edge epoxy technology for coloring and sealing decorative concrete surfaces.
The distributorship will allow CoverTec to better serve its customer base by making this exceptional treatment for stained, polished and stamped concrete more widely available. CoverTec is a recognized industry-wide leader in the manufacture and distribution of commercial floor cleaners, coatings and waterproofing products.
“Essentially this line of products is targeted toward stamped, stained and colored concrete – decorative concrete,” said Charles Idowu, CoverTec’s technology director and company owner. “A lot of homeowners, businesses and commercial establishments are putting concrete into their homes in the form of easy-to-maintain pool decks, patio decks and polished concrete flooring. We wanted to make this high-quality product easily available.”
Endurable Concrete Armor products are simple to apply, have long-term stability and work beautifully for both interior and exterior.
“The concrete becomes your canvas. You can color it, stain it or blend the stains together. You can polish also them up to make them shiny,” Mr. Idowu noted. “We wanted to expand our product line to include the beautification, staining and sealing of concrete.”
Endurable Concrete Armor’s product line is widely used in restaurants, hotels, grocery stores, big box stores, shopping malls because of their durability and appearance.
“We were looking for products and colors that were compatible with our own line of products. Endurable Concrete products are easy to maintain which is also in line with our own philosophy and product line,” Mr. Idowu said.
CoverTec is also known for its vinyl floor sealer, concrete floor sealer, paver sealer, stone tile sealer, brick paver sealer and concrete paver sealer products. The company is also an experienced exporter and its location in South Florida makes it ideally placed to serve the Caribbean and the Latin American market. The region now has access to high quality, decorative concrete products that can be economically shipped out of the local area ports. Covertec describes its sought-after floor treatments as “innovative chemistry for surface solutions.”
Mr. Idowu began his career in concrete design and installation, learning first-hand what worked and didn’t work. The civil engineer specialized in protective coatings for concrete and drew on the experience he gained as an installer to modify today’s products to address porcelain, ceramic and high gloss surfaces.
He perfected the products that CoverTec sells today by collaborating with a talented development chemist and a group of engineers with over 50 years experience.
