Miri Rossitto, CEO, and Nicola Staple, COO of Cowe Communications, a women-owned business and brand development firm, believe that No Kid Should Go Hungry!
It might be hard to believe, but millions of children right here in the wealthiest nation on Earth do not get enough food to eat each day. Unfortunately, the problem has only gotten worse since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, and this is because many children who qualified for free or reduced-cost school meals are not receiving them while they remain closed.
At least one non-profit organization, No Kid Hungry®, has been working tirelessly for the past eight years to provide nutritious meals to underprivileged kids. Now, the non-profit is teaming with several partners, including Cowe Communications, on a new fundraiser to help raise even more money to provide meals for these kids.
Masking 4 Help is an online auction where individuals can bid on face masks signed by their favorite athletes and celebrities. Peyton Manning, Joe Montana and Coach Bobby Knight are just a few of the athletes who will be donating signed face masks to the auctions, which are scheduled to begin in October.
“We are deeply honored to be partnering with Masking 4 Help,” says Cowe Communications Founder and CEO Miri Rossitto. “The ongoing global pandemic has exacerbated food insecurity issues to unimaginable levels, and our whole Cowe Communications crew is willing to do whatever it takes to help.
“This is a very exciting opportunity for fans of sports and celebrities to not only get an autographed mask but also to raise much-needed funds for No Kid Hungry,” Rossitto adds. “The roster of superstar athletes and Hollywood celebrities who are signing up to participate is not only impressive and exciting but it shows how willing everybody is to jump on board and do whatever it takes to make the world a better place right now.”
“The ongoing global pandemic has presented unimaginable financial and emotional hardships for millions of Americans,” says Marty Garafalo of Masking 4 Help. “By joining forces with our extensive network of athletes and celebrities, Masking 4 Help will produce exciting online auctions where winners will win autographed face masks and 75% of funds raised will directly support No Kid Hungry.”
