The Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy has updated its med spa training and certification program to make it more accessible for students who have other commitments. The majority of the coursework can now be completed online, allowing students to balance their studies with raising a family or working a day job. The updated courses enable new students to become fully trained, certified, and ready to work in a med spa in just 8 weeks without having to quit their current employment. The online training can be completed at the student's own pace from anywhere with an internet connection. The practical training is then carried out in person for one week at a Dermysk Academy location. During this hands-on training, students gain real-world experience working with both synthetic substitutes and actual people, supervised by a Dermysk training specialist. Graduates receive full certification to work in a med spa or start their own home business. Certain injectable cosmetic techniques can only be performed by licensed nurses or physicians, but students without a healthcare provider license can still become fully certified in other techniques. The Dermysk Academy offers Basic, Advanced, and Master-level training programs, with the Master-level program containing all the content of the Basic and Advanced programs plus additional exclusive training. Only graduates of the Master-level program receive a "Master of Medical Aesthetics" certificate.
The Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy (1-844-337-6975) has updated its popular med spa training and certification program to make the classes more accessible to students who may be raising a family or working a day job by putting the majority of the coursework online.

Laval, Canada - October 11, 2023 /PressCable/ —
Using the updated courses from the Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy, it’s possible for new students to become fully trained, certified, and ready to work in a med spa in as little as 8 weeks, without quitting their day job.
More information about the accessible course structure, the available certifications, and Dermysk Academy locations can be found at https://academy.dermysk.com/
To ensure that all students can access these new courses, the Dermysk Academy allows students to complete much of their training online, at their own pace, from anywhere with an internet connection. With the latest updates, students can now become fully certified in up to a dozen popular med spa techniques, with only one week spent in the classroom.
By combining online learning and hands-on training, the Dermysk Academy can help students train for a new career, with minimal impact on their daily lives due to their classes. Students can take as long, or as little as they require to complete the online training, before scheduling their one week of practical training at the nearest Dermysk Academy location.
During the hands-on training, students will work on both synthetic substitutes and actual people, to get real-world experience with each technique, while supervised by a Dermysk training specialist. At the end of the course, graduates will be fully certified to work in a local med spa or open their own home business.
While the Dermysk Academy provides training for all major med spa procedures in Canada, certain injectable cosmetic techniques can only be performed by a licensed nurse or physician. Students without a valid healthcare provider license can still become fully certified in all other techniques, including complex procedures like Body Sculpting and stem cell treatments.
However, these complex techniques are only available through the Dermysk Academy’s Advanced or Master-level training programs. The Advanced program can be accessed by any graduate of the Basic training or anyone with 5 years of med spa experience.
The Master-level program has no prerequisites but is only available to certain highly dedicated students, as it contains all of the content found in both the Basic and Advanced programs, as well as exclusive additional training. Only graduates from this Master-level program will receive a “Master of Medical Aesthetics” certificate, though all students will be enrolled in the Dermysk After-Graduate Support Program.
