Dr. Armando B. Gonzales
Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, Dr. Gonzales attended Louisiana State University. He then earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Logan University of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri in 1992.
Having been in active practice for over 20 years. Dr. Todd Bogos
A chiropractic physician, Dr. Bogos specializes in a remarkable, non-surgical, non-epidural, drug-free treatment of disc conditions, stenosis, and chronic neck and back pain, known as Disc Decompression Therapy. He has also held the position of team chiropractor for the Professional Baseball Organization, the Atlantic City Surf.
Throughout his 24-year career, Dr. Bogos has had an active interest in improved function and health. In his practice, he has emphasized the need to see the back and joint patient as a whole person with lifestyle, nutritional, and stress factors as important components in successful care. Dr. Debra Kennedy
Dr. Kennedy has been a chiropractor in the state of Delaware for over two decades. She is dedicated to delivering effective care that provides patients with outstanding results minus the complications and risks that often accompany surgical procedures.
Before receiving her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in Georgia in 1998, Dr. Kennedy studied at the University of Delaware. She also received a diploma in Chiropractic Physio Therapeutics from the National College of Chiropractic with a focus on the management of patients with serious injuries and the use of modalities in the chiropractic office.
Specializing in health and wellness, Dr. Kennedy is committed to providing patients with considerable pain relief for many conditions, such as but not limited to: neck pain, low back pain, headaches, TMJ dysfunction, work-related injuries and motor vehicle accidents. She also gives patients the educational tools necessary for the prevention of relapse and to achieve optimal health.
Dr. Erik Camac
A New Castle County, Delaware native, Dr. Camac completed his bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Philosophy from the University of Delaware. He then graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Florida campus. While at Palmer, he focused on wellness, nutrition, and rehabilitation with a focus on patient care and seniors.
Throughout his training, Dr. Camac has completed many additional elective courses in modalities, and extremity adjusting, and is certified in Activator Methods. In addition, he has passed all four parts of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the Physiotherapy examination.
Dedicated to making an impact on the health and wellness needs of the community that he serves, Dr. Camac truly enjoys traveling, and all sporting activities, both watching and playing, and was a Delaware State champion soccer player. He also enjoys spending his time with family outside of work, in nearby New Castle and Chester Counties.
Dr. David Shmukler
Dr. Shmukler maintained a private chiropractic practice in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania for 20 years. He has extensive postgraduate training in neurology and worked with Dr. Martin Mandel, a medical neurologist. He has also practiced in Southern California and co-authored a "diet" book titled " Outsmart Your Fork".
In his free time, Dr. Shmukler enjoys lifting weights, running, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Daniel Rufus
A 2017 Palmer College of Chiropractic graduate, Dr. Rufus completed his undergraduate degree at Saint Ambrose University in Davenport Iowa with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. While attending Saint Ambrose, he played football and was a part of the track and field team. He competed in the indoor and outdoor national championships 3 years in a row and is still the school record holder in the hammer throw.
Since graduating from Palmer Dr. Rufus has really enjoyed working with prenatal and pediatric patients as well as with athletic injuries. Having been a competitive athlete his whole life, he has a comprehensive understanding of how these injuries occur and how to best treat them. His techniques are enhanced by the additional training he has in extremity work.
In his free time, Dr. Rufus enjoys golfing, playing basketball, being outdoors, working out, and spending time with friends and family. He is excited to work with patients in every phase of life, whether they were just born or have great-grandchildren, and to instill a sense of healthy living in the Bear community.
