HANOVER, Pa. - Jan. 19, 2024 - PRLog -- Prepare for a groundbreaking transformation at South Hanover YMCA! We're excited to announce upcoming renovations set to redefine our facilities, spotlighting a major revamp of the Field House at South Hanover YMCA. This ambitious project funded by G&S Foods, The Rice Family Foundation, and Hanover Area YMCA underscores our commitment to creating a contemporary, inclusive, and top-of-the-line space dedicated to serving the growing community.
Why the Change?
As our vibrant community continues to flourish, the Hanover Area YMCA adapts to meet the dynamic needs of our members. We understand the impact these updates may have on organizations currently utilizing the facility and we're dedicated to ensuring a seamless transition. This renovation isn't merely a facelift; it's our pledge to invest in the well-being of youth, adults, families and seniors now and into the future.
What to Expect:
Field House: Prepare for an upgrade that opens doors to a multitude of activities. Featuring two refreshed turf fields, as well as two multi-sport courts for youth and adult programming, including Soccer, Volleyball, Field Hockey, Pickleball, Futsal, Basketball, Lacrosse and more!
Second floor Fitness area to be constructed in the existing Mezzanine space.
Expanded Programs: New and improved offerings that cater to all ages and interests, fostering an environment where inclusivity and community engagement flourish.
Enhanced Spectator and Participant experience.
South Hanover Y Birdseye View Rendition
The Hanover Area YMCA extends heartfelt gratitude to our generous donors, members, and the community. We're excited to create a multigenerational recreation hub at the South Hanover YMCA Field House beginning in Summer 2024!
