Iris Senior Living is proud to announce that it has just acquired a Dallas memory care community in Turtle Creek, which is now rebranded as Iris Memory Care of Turtle Creek. The intent is to renovate and reposition the community and become the preferred, specialized memory care provider serving all of Dallas, including Uptown, Downtown, Park Cities, North Dallas, Northeast Dallas, East Dallas, Lakewood, Northwest Dallas, and Preston Hollow.

The Iris model is to provide senior housing services in an intimate setting which offers quality care to its residents that are living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia in a residential-like environment where each resident can maximize their health, happiness, and freedom of movement. Memory care provides intensive, long-term care to seniors with Alzheimer's & other types of dementia in a fully staffed and secure environment. Specialized care requires a higher staff to resident ratio and additional training compared to other types of senior living communities to ensure the safety of all the residents.
The business plan is to reposition the community as the preferred, specialized memory care provider by completing a cosmetic renovation bringing the property up-to-date with current design trends and technology. The renovation is anticipated to take six months and will be completed in a strategic manner to minimize operational disturbances and to ensure the comfort of the current residents.
