In 1974, Kent's father moved his family to Jensen Beach and added his architect-builder talents to Kent's grandfathers who were already designing, building, and developing real estate in the Treasure Coast area. Kent grew up studying blueprints of luxury custom homes at the breakfast table and using all the tools of the trade to bring them to life at job sites. He experienced the satisfaction of turning those plans into fulfilled dreams for many happy clients.
In 2008, encouraged by changes in the construction market, Kent expanded into the real estate market and discovered he was also gifted at finding existing homes that matched clients' needs and dreams.
His years of experience in job costing and project management supplemented that ability. His interest in the sustainability and environmental impact of buildings and developments on the complex yet fragile beauty of South Florida led him to successfully earn a "Green Builder" certification from Florida State University.
When Kent founded Luxury Realty Associates, he had two goals in mind: to help clients successfully realize their dreams of quality living and to offer agents with a similar mindset and goals a place to serve buyers with integrity and dedication.

Due to his love for all things aquatic, Kent is an experienced scuba diver, boater, and fisherman, and knows every beach in the area. He is frequently accompanied on some or all of those pursuits by his wife, one or more of his children, and even his furry, four-legged companions. Both Pepper and Blu are happy to announce anyone's arrival on their outdoor adventures with loud barks and wagging tails. His family also participates in Kent's personal involvement in local religious and charitable organizations that actively serve the needs of local communities.
