As a testament to her continued education, she is board-certified in anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA). As the certifying body for anesthesiologists since 1938, the ABA is committed to partnering with physicians to advance lifelong learning and exceptional patient care. Its mission is to advance the highest standards of the practice of anesthesiology.
In addition to her passion for practicing anesthesia, Dr. Bassili is passionate about helping people with mental health illnesses. To that end, she recently opened a Ketamine Infusion Clinic in Dallas, On the Mend Recovery, with an emphasis on treating military veterans and first responders. Ketamine is a medication that was first developed in the 1960s as an anesthetic for surgical procedures.
