Antwerp, Belgium - April 4, 2022 /MarketersMEDIA/ —

MODJL, the revolutionary new modular backpack that can be customized over 5 million different ways, is live on global crowdfunding platform Kickstarter and raising funds to bring the project to life.
The daily rhythm of life means different situations call for different carrying needs. Whether for work, recreation or style— the MODJL bag is an infinitely customizable bag that adapts and changes its looks and capabilities based on a wearer’s needs. The combination of color and modularity gives the MODJL Collection near endless possibilities.
“Back in 2018, I was looking for a new backpack, since mine was completely worn down. Getting my backpack fixed was going to cost me almost as much as buying a new one, so buying a new one seemed like the better option at the time. I like creating and customizing my own stuff, so I started looking at brands that offered backpack customization,” says co-founder Jens Van Havermaet on the inspiration behind the project. “The bigger brands offered a lot of color combinations for their different backpack models, but I could never create a combination that really fit my personality and style. I started looking for backpacks that were modular, where I could create my own layout and color combination, but I quickly found out that there was no brand that offered that.”
The MODJL Attachment System is user-friendly and secure; utilizing a combination of high-quality magnets and webbing loops to ensure the MODJL remains perfectly in place, no matter the design of choice. The MODJL Collection is comprised of 6 pieces which can be endlessly added, removed, mixed and matched for the perfect look and functionality:
“The backpack is something that we use almost every day, from primary school until university and even in our professional lives. Individuality is something that is very important to us as a society and we feel like the backpack was still lacking in that department, while other accessories and fashion items, such as sneakers have much more to offer,” adds co-founder Stijn Helsen. “That’s why we wanted to create a backpack and carrying collection that gives you the opportunity to express yourself and show everyone in the world the amazing, unique person you are.”
