Linda Cousine has a background in modeling and is an interior designer. When asked about why she wrote the book, Cousine said: “I write books for women who like to laugh–laugh at life, and laugh at themselves. I like to compare my Hottie books to a ride at an amusement park. They’re fast, fun, a little crazy, and not a serious mode of transportation.”
Cousine has hopes that the book will remind readers to laugh at themselves and laugh at life. This positive outlook from the author is certainly testament to their optimism considering some of the mishaps during its creation. At one point her husband saw her writing at her kitchen table two years ago and said, “Don’t quit your day job.” Who knew the books would be such a hit.
