Taipei, Taiwan (Merxwire) – Phihong Technology, a global supplier of power products and EV charging stations, has been selected by Shell (NYSE: RDS), one of the world’s largest oil and gas companies, to support their continued expansion into the global EV charging market. Under this Global Framework Agreement, executed in late December 2021, Phihong will provide a wide range of products, including 32A, 48A, and 80A Level 2 AC chargers, and 30kW, 60kW, 90kW, 120kW, 150kW, 180kW, and 360kW DC Fast Charging stations.

Phihong will support Shell in several global markets as a key supplier, including Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and North America. Shell launched the first Phihong powered Shell Recharge service station in Hong Kong in late December 2021, with 120kW DCFC stations. They deliver rapid charging from 10% to 80% in less than an hour, while Phihong’s 360kW DCFC will enable most passenger electric vehicles to reach from 10% to 80% in as little as twenty minutes.

The Phihong-Shell collaboration will deliver customer-specific turn-key solutions to meet the needs of Shell’s global green energy expansion. The partnership represents a vote of confidence from Shell and is an essential milestone in Phihong’s continued growth and focus on supporting the global EV Charging OEM/ODM marketplace.
