Phoenix 5/7 Emerges as a Genre-Fluid Artist Collective

MIAMI - Sept. 27, 2026 - PRLog -- Author, entrepreneur and multidisciplinary storyteller Ra'Mone Marquis is expanding the creative world of Tru Phoenix World with the introduction of Phoenix 5/7, a genre-fluid music identity built around one defining philosophy:
Phoenix 5/7 allows each story to determine how it should be heard. Soul, R&B, jazz, gospel, hip-hop, pop, rock and other influences become tools for storytelling rather than boxes to remain inside.
"Phoenix 5/7 is where story meets sound," says Marquis. "The music follows wherever the story leads. I'm not interested in forcing every experience into the same sound simply so it fits neatly into a category."
Phoenix 5/7 officially entered the streaming landscape on September 8, 2026, with the simultaneous release of "I Become" and "They Saw Ashes." Though distinctly different musically, both records introduced the foundation of the artist: music rooted in becoming, survival, reflection and the beautifully complicated experience of being human.
The debut was only the beginning.
Phoenix 5/7 will continue its introduction this fall with three additional releases: "The Armor" on September 28, "Welcome In" on October 1, and "Franchise Player" on October 20.
"Welcome In" arrives October 1 as a standalone single. Its invitation, "You Belong Here," extends the heart of Phoenix 5/7: a place for honest expression, vulnerability and the freedom to arrive as you are.
With "Franchise Player," Phoenix 5/7 turns once again—this time toward confidence, presence and self-possession—further demonstrating that listeners should not expect one predictable sonic identity from release to release.
Phoenix 5/7 exists within the larger creative world of Tru Phoenix World, LLC, an independent platform spanning publishing, apparel, media, scholarship and music. Across those different mediums, the work remains connected by storytelling, transformation and the belief that surviving something is not the end of the story.
