A Kansas City native, he obtained his bachelor's degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from the Boston University School of Dental Medicine, after which he completed his Certificate in Orthodontic & Dentofacial Orthopedics and his Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) degree from the Colorado University School of Dental Medicine.
To stay on the cutting edge of the profession, Dr. Rajanna regularly attends continuing education courses, both within the orthodontic specialty and in other dental disciplines. He is also active in a number of professional societies including: the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Missouri Dental Association, the Midwestern Society of Orthodontists, the Eastern Jackson County Dental Group, and the Greater Kansas City Dental Society.
Orthodontics is a specialty of dentistry that deals with the diagnosis, prevention, and correction of malpositioned teeth and jaws. As an orthodontist, Dr. Grove is responsible for identifying problems with the positioning of a patient's teeth and with their oral development.
