The most recent SJ Winn Construction customer review, which the company is proud of, says, “Scott and his crew came in took all the shingles off, and replaced our roof. What an amazing job his crew did. They cleaned up everything and you would never know work was done. Not one piece of garbage left. What a professional to work with. On time and got the job done quicker than quoted. I am so happy with my new roof!!”
Scott Winn, the owner of SJ Winn Construction, responded to the 5-star review by saying, “Roof replacements are a chance to fix all roofing problems at once and get a fresh start, as well as warranty, on a property’s roof. Our GAF certification, which requires contractors to clear a high bar for work quality and competency, ensures that you are working with the best roofers in Torrington. We would like to thank the customer for sharing their thoughts about our service, especially for highlighting the efforts we took to clean the work site following the completion of the job.”
SJ Winn Construction has a simple 5-step process that ensures every roof replacement job is completed on time, within budget, and without disrupting the client’s regular schedule. It begins with a roof inspection where the company’s experienced roofers list all the problems that need to be fixed. If there are too many issues that need addressing, a complete roof replacement is recommended as it will be more cost-effective in the long term.
The company will then provide a detailed quote that includes the cost of roofing materials as well as the cost of labor. Once the client agrees to the quote, SJ Winn Construction works with them to determine a start date and time that works best. Then, homeowners can just sit back and rest assured that when the company is done, they will have a durable roof ready that offers full protection, looks great, and will adorn the property for years to come.
Scott talks about the common signs that a roof might need replacement by saying, “Roofing problems generally accrue over time and become more pervasive the longer they are not solved. It might start with small issues such as sunlight breaching the cracks in the roof, damaged flashing, water leaks, or missing tiles and shingles. If you are out of warranty, the best course of action available to you is to replace the entire roof.”
SJ Winn Construction works with all kinds of roofing shingles and materials including asphalt shingles to tiles, synthetic slate shingles, and more. As the company works with premium products from GAF, the products also have superior ice, UV, and weather resistance.
