Joe Vecchio, the recording artist / music producer behind Distorted Kid has just announced that he has pre-released the debut EP 1 to BandCamp.

Joe Vecchio, the recording artist / music producer behind Distorted Kid has just announced that he has pre-released the debut EP 1 to BandCamp. The debut release will soon be released to Spotify, iTunes, Amazon and all other streaming services likely in the beginning of 2021. The songs that are currently on all the other streaming services will be removed and replaced by this new debut EP 1.

Joe recorded and produced all of the music in his home recording studio. He uses an Apple iMac and Pro Tools digital audio workstation stocked up with top notch virtual instruments, effects and pro audio music production tools.
When asked, “What is the meaning behind the ‘Distorted Kid’ recording artist name?” Joe replied:
“‘Distorted Kid’ is kind of my own self titled aka for the web regarding my music. In New England you know we sometimes refer to one another as ‘kid’. It’s kind of slang and just a fun way to address someone I suppose. And the ‘Distorted’ part, well I have always been inspired by distorted guitars and music with distortion and also any kind of dirty saturation that musicians sometimes use in their sound productions to make things sound gritty and gnarly.”
The debut consists of 10 songs with vocals and electric guitars layered over original EDM like music with a rock flare plus two electronic instrumental outro songs which are less rock like. The song titles, song order and song length are itemized below:
