Podcast Pride Month on “Speakers Who Get Results”!
(San Francisco, CA, June 2, 2020) In honor of Gay Pride, the international podcast Speakers Who Get Results will be featuring LGBTQ guests for the month of June. “It is so sad that so many Pride events have been canceled due to the pandemic” says podcast host Elizabeth Bachman. “This was a way to recognize the LGBTQ community, even if we cannot always meet safely in person.”
The June episodes will feature these Speakers:
6/4 – Executive Presence Strategies with Gina Grahame, The Grahame Strategic Institute for Communications, Stanford School of Business
6/11 – Gender Perception in Corporate America with Alaina Kupec of Gilead Sciences, Navy veteran and trans activist
6/18 – Making Diversity an Asset in Troubled Times with Lance Dorsey, Senior Manager of Inclusive Hiring at McKesson, LGBT spokesman
6/25 – LIVE INTERVIEW – Cultural Humility with Jessica Pettit, well-known comedian and diversity speaker
“Speakers Who Get Results” is a podcast that features international experts, who speak on how to move audiences to take action. In addition to presentation skills, Elizabeth Bachman and her guests discuss leadership and visibility as well as the mis-communication challenges faced by today’s presenters.
“It’s all about the audience and how they perceive you,” says Elizabeth. “People make instant judgments about you. How you show up – who you are in the room – affects the way your message is received. Instead of grumbling about unfairness, use your knowledge to make this an asset.”
In addition to hosting the podcast, Elizabeth Bachman uses her experience as an international opera director to train presenters. “The skills you need to “sell a song” aren’t all that different from the skills you need to sell a product, a service or an idea.
You can catch Speakers who Get Results on ITunes, Stitcher or wherever you listen to podcasts.
Elizabeth Bachman has spent a lifetime perfecting the art of presenting, she helps high-level clients master a message that brings * the Funding they need, *the Allies they want and * the Recognition they deserve.
