For Pre-K through 12th-grade educators, the National School Chaplain Association has announced its comprehensive chaplaincy training program designed to certify participants as spiritual care providers.

With over 27,000 chaplains certified through its training program, the organization has announced the option for educators to add chaplaincy certification to their teaching skills. Chaplain certification through the NSCA consists of an application to determine the level of training required, completion of an 8-week online, self-paced program, school safety courses, and final background checks.
