Oklahoma City, OK, United States - November 21, 2022 —
Ten Key Home & Kitchen Remodels has been providing homeowners in Edmond and beyond with expertise-based services from designing customized remodeling projects to bringing them to life. This sought-after company is now a proud recipient of the Excellence in Construction and Real Estate award as the company’s CEO reflects back at some of their achievements.
This year, The Journal Record has honored Katie Kochelek, the owner, founder, and CEO of Ten Key Home & Kitchen Remodels, with the Excellence in Construction and Real Estate Award in the General Contractor category. Since 2020, this top-rated company has completed over 120 successful projects. They continue to support women by maintaining an inclusive hiring process. “In a male-dominated industry, three-fifths of Ten Key’s management team are women, one-half of Ten Key’s superintendents are women, and two-thirds of Ten Key’s cabinet makers are women,” – says Katie Kochelek.
This company has also focused on providing the aging population in Oklahoma City, Edmond, and the nearby communities with highly practical and aesthetically pleasing solutions so that homeowners can “age in place”.
Katie Kochelek also commented on one of their recent bathroom projects for a client with disabilities: “This presented a unique opportunity to build a custom storage piece that fit her exact use of the space. We completed this project in two phases so that our homeowners would not be without a functioning bathroom for more than a few days at a time.”
