Williams was drawn to Jones because of her stories of triumph over trauma; stories that are paradoxically gut-wrenching and awe-inspiring. "Nona knows how to meet hurting people where they are because she knows those hurts. She has built a life and a legacy of encouraging people to rise and release," Williams shared.
