To mark King Charles’s coronation, family jigsaw-puzzle makers Original Jigsaw co. have released a brand new jigsaw puzzle. The jigsaw marks a new way to celebrate the bank holiday weekend for those who are likely to be spending the time watching the TV or camped out along the Mall, marking the occasion of the coronation of a new king.
With King Charles’s coronation front and centre, scenes from his life spill out colourfully through the streets of the jigsaw puzzle. From Caernarfon castle to watercolour paints, the illustrations commemorate both the well-known and little-known moments that have led to this day.
Brother-sister duo James and Rachael Hattam are the team behind the jigsaw. Having been avid puzzlers growing up, the two made their first jigsaw ‘So long 2020’ with a company called karibu which proved to be a top-selling success. Since then, the two have committed themselves to the world of creating jigsaw puzzles and so they started the Original Jigsaw Co to continue sharing their unique designs.

Rachael and James are passionate about making high-quality jigsaws. Previous jigsaw puzzles that they have worked on include things like the “Thank You Ma’am” puzzle, the debut of Original Jigsaw Co., which reflected on Queen Elizabeth II’s seven decades as monarch, a tribute to the late queen.
They aim to make their puzzles as sustainable as possible, and all their jigsaws are made here in the UK on a luxury 1.7mm board made from 100% FSC-certified recycled board. The jigsaw comes in a cotton bag sourced from a fair-trade textiles factory in Europe where all workers are paid a living wage.
