This year's 16th Annual WBEC-West Strategic Procurement Opportunity Conference and Awards Gala promises tremendous WBE2WBEbusiness networking, insightful workshops hosted by industry leaders,a Corporate Matchmaker for targeted business matchmaking opportunities, and much more.
The conference catering to certified WBEs will be held in Tucson, Arizona at the JW Marriott Tucson Starr Pass Resort & Spa from Saturday, September 10, 2019 to Monday, September 12, 2019 and features the theme, Uncovering the Clues for Success.
"This year our key focus is on empowering our Women Business Enterprises and others with the resources needed to build sustainable relationships with procurement and supplier diversity professionals in order to grow their business to the next level of success," stated Dr. Pamela Williamson, President of WBEC-West.
The Corporate Strategic Matchmaker held on September 12th, 2019 is one of the highlights of the 16th Annual WBEC-West Conference this year, and is designed to help connect certified WBENC WBE companies with corporations. The face-to-face meetings at the matchmaker offer the opportunity for WBEs to make an introduction to the corporations and begin developing a relationship. The pre-scheduled meetings are 10 minutes for each Corporate Matchmaker session.
The Pitch Breakfast and the WBE Connection Corner also promises to assist enterprising certified women to do business with each other and Corporate America.
The conference also boasts an incredible panel of key leaders across various industries who will be delivering industry-specific workshops.
"This year’s event boasts smaller industry specific symposiums, which will allow WBEs the opportunity to dialog and connect with procurement and supplier diversity professionals in a more meaningful way, while learning about the latest trends and industry specific opportunities within their target markets," added Dr. Williamson.
By attending this comprehensive three day conference attendees will be able to build meaningful relationships during the symposiums, interactive luncheon, matchmakers, and round table meetings with corporate partners, primes, government agencies and fellow WBEs.
The event will be culminate in style with the annual awards dinner on Monday, September 12, 2019.
