The program is founded on research that indicates the most beneficial outcomes occur when trauma-informed treatment is provided through therapeutic group sessions and individual treatment plans. In the program, first responders can expect to participate in twenty hours of personalized residential trauma-informed care treatment groups per week, in addition to extra-curricular activities, community self-help meetings, basic psycho-educational sessions, individual therapy, and family therapy.

The program includes a variety of evidence-based treatments, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Neurofeedback (NFB), and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP). The program is staffed with physicians, floor staff, and master-level clinicians to provide supervision and support. The facility also offers help for those suffering from sex addiction and other behavior disorders, including alcohol and substance abuse disorders.

Utah Trauma & Addiction Centers is certified by the International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP) and utilizes the skills and theories of sexual health researchers to create individualized treatment plans for each client. During treatment, clients are provided with the keys they need to reclaim their lives and are encouraged to participate in support groups and individual therapy to ensure success.

At Utah Trauma & Addiction Centers they understand that mental health is the first priority when it comes to overcoming addictions, and they focus on providing a comprehensive solution that addresses the underlying causes. The team at the center creates custom treatment plans for each patient, and they also offer family support during treatment and aftercare.

Along with being ranked as one of the top successful treatment programs in the nation, the company’s service is also one of the most affordable. Utah Trauma & Addiction Centers accept most insurance plans, and offer partial scholarships for those who qualify.
