Los Angeles, CA, United States - January 10, 2019 /MarketersMedia/ —

One of the most renowned martial arts studios in Los Angeles area, We Train Here, LLC has continued their tradition of charity and community support by attempting to raise enough money to support one child for a full year at We Train Here Academy.

This tradition started in 2017 when the academy decided to increase their community engagement and help children stay away from the street, all the while developing discipline and self-confidence. Their program of one week free classes has been instituted to help people make the first step. The goal of this charity campaign is to raise $2000 which is enough to fully equip one child and pay for the tuition for a full year.

“The cost of tuition at We Train Here academy is really low, specifically because some people in our community wouldn’t be able to afford these classes otherwise. One of our goals is to keep children away from the negative influences by instilling some important values in them,” said Michael Toomer, the president of We Train Here. He added: “In the spirit of the holiday season, we have decided to go through with the initiative we started last year. Raising money to support a child for a full year of martial arts classes means a lot to low-income families, and we hope to be successful.”

About We Train Here – The studio was founded in Los Angeles in 2015 by Angel Orellana and Michael Toomer, both of whom have had decades of previous experience as practitioners and instructors of a variety of martial arts. The studio offers a combination of practical self-defense, karate, Jiu-Jitsu, and Tae Kwon Do. We Train Here is built around the idea of teaching practical self-defense skills, as well as important life skills like patience, discipline, and self-esteem.
