Having successfully tutored over 800 students, Shark Tutor has now expanded its SAT tutoring service to help high school students in Westover, Connecticut, approach their SAT with confidence.

More details are available at https://www.sharktutorct.com/

With the recent announcement, the tutoring center seeks to provide high school students in the region with SAT subject test tutoring to achieve high scores and boost their chances of admission to their preferred colleges and universities.

"I provide each student with the skills, strategies, and pacing designed to maximize test scores and confidence," said Sharon Kistler, founder of Shark Tutor. "Students can meet for the tutoring service in person at my home, the student's home, or a local library, or virtually via Skype."

As part of the service, Sharon Kistler assesses the students' strengths and weaknesses using a PSAT, a mock SAT, or a recent "cold" test. After assessing the results of the baseline test, she creates a customized tutoring program, catering to the student’s individual needs. Boarding school students and students not residing in Westover, Connecticut, can schedule virtual tutoring sessions via Skype.

The tutor provides ongoing support and guidance to students throughout their SAT preparation process. They also get access to test prep resources, including practice tests and study guides, that help them achieve their study goals.

During the school year, Shark Tutor schedules dedicated days during the week for study tasks; however, session times are more flexible in the summer to accommodate student availability and other factors. Each session typically lasts 60-90 minutes, and the student is expected to dedicate at least 1.5 hours each week to independent practice.
